VINYL RECORDING SERVICE
Here some practical considerations of recording to vinyl:
The recording length is limited by the dynamic range of the signal. Below
some standard recording times per format, it is possible to record longer
if the music permits this ( e.g. quieter sounds, only speech, little high
frequencies or loud basses ).
We'll not cut signals under 30Hz, the tonearm of a turntable has
its resonance frequency at about 20 Hz, this can make the needle jump out of the
groove! High frequencies at high volume can pose difficulties aswell although
you can cut this, the playback needle will have trouble replicating it so
the sound can be distorted.
Phase differences in the low end (stereo effects) can cause certain
problems as well. Because of all this we need to do some checks and
possibly slight alterations prior to cutting something on a record!
To protect the cutter head we use an elliptical equalizer on signals below
200 Hz and roll of the high frequencies from about 17kHz.

Want to exceed the Maximum playing time : + €1,- per minute
When ordering a large amount, multiple copies, it can be best to first order one
record as a test.
Additional copies will then be counted and charged as parts of a single order.
SLEEVES AND LABELS:
All records are delivered in a protective innersleeve, and with white labels at
no extra charge, we can also send you the labels unattached so you can print
and stick them on yourself.
For the moment we don't offer printing service for jackets (outersleeves). If you want
we can supply you with a white unprinted cardboard jacket.
12" jackets are white, cardboard without centerhole and are € 0,50.
10" jackets are white, cardboard with centerhole and are € 0,50.
7" jackets are white, cardboard with centerhole and are € 0,30.

For a correct figure, ask a quote. But to get a general idea here are some estimates:

from €7,- (for 1x 12", 5x 7" or 2x 10" records) up to €11,50 (30x 12", 80x 7" or
45x 10"); signed for, track and trace, insured up to €500,-.
The Netherlands, Luxemburg:
from €9,- (for 1x 12", 5x 7" or 2x 10" records) up to €12,50 (30x 12", 80x 7" or
45x 10" records); track and trace, add €2,50 for insurance up to €500,-.
France, Germany, UK:
from €9,50 (for 1x 12", 5x 7" or 2x 10" records) up to €17,50 (30x 12", 80x 7" or
45x 10" records) track and trace, add €2,50 for insurance up to €500,-.
Other EU countries, US, Russia, North-Africa:
from €9,50 (for 1x 12", 5x 7" or 2x 10" records) up to €30,50 (30x 12", 80x 7" or
45x 10" records) track and trace, add €2,50 for insurance up to €500,-.
Remember when ordering a large quantity, it's advised to first order one record as a test.
Want to avoid shipping costs and pick up the records yourself? It is possible,
please ask.
FILE FORMATS
You can send every file format you like . But beware best is to avoid heavily compressed files like MP3!
Preferably use WAV or AIFF (16 or 24 bit/up to 96 Khz ). We will send you a
link for file-upload after placing an order.
If sending CD or tapes trough the mail please note that it is at your own risk if
something gets lost or damaged.
